The story of 2023
Following the prayer and preparation of 2021–2022, Lumens of Truth launched as a ministry in 2023.
In 2023, Lumens of Truth published the first volume of the Afghan Journal of Theology. It was the first theological journal in Afghanistan’s history, a milestone in the ministry’s desire to serve the Afghan church through the written word.
The journal connected a founding prayer with a tangible resource. Helping believers grow deep roots in the Word of God had been central to the vision since 2021; publication gave that commitment a new expression through theological writing made for Afghans.
