Our history
Born in prayer.
Rooted in hope.
From a season of upheaval came a prayer: that the church in Afghanistan would grow deep roots in the Word of God. This is the story of Lumens of Truth.

The beginning of a shared calling
A ministry grows
one faithful step at a time.
Follow the story from the prayer and preparation of 2021–2022 to the ministry’s launch in 2023 and the work that followed.
The calling takes root.
The prayer and conversations of 2021 led to the work of establishing a ministry. Hasib and Samir worked together on the preparations for registration, giving practical form to the calling that had brought the group together.
In May 2022, Lumens of Truth was officially registered. This was a milestone in a story that had begun months earlier: a desire to serve the Afghan church and help believers become deeply rooted in the Word of God. The name chosen in prayer now belonged to an established organisation.
