Pray for Afghans and Afghanistan

Please pray for Samir as he is preaching at a local church on “Nicaea in Light of John 3:16”. Pray that the Lord would use this time to help His people be feed by His Word. 

Pray as we work on a brand new Afghan worship song. The composition and the lyrics sound beautiful, but there is still much to finish. The music must be produced, the vocals recorded, postproduction completed, and then turned into a video. We are grateful and excited for this new worship project. Pray that every step goes smoothly so it can be ready for Christmas.

Please pray for our team as they travel in September to various conferences. Pray that the Lord will work through them as they teach and take part in these gatherings.

Please join us in prayer as we enter the final stages of our theological course that tackles the issue of shame. Shame is the primary lens by which Afghans interpret their lives and it haunts many. This course is a groundbreaking journey into discovering how Jesus takes away our shame and  honours us. We are thrilled to launch this course in early July 2025. 

We are thankful for everything the Lord did in 2024 among Afghans and in Afghanistan. Please read our Kingdom Impact Report to rejoice with us! Thank you for all your prayers for our team and the unreached peoples of Afghanistan!

Please pray for the Afghan believes inside Afghanistan as there is increased persecution, especially in the past few months. Please pray that the Afghan church would endure and that the Lord would sustain them through this very hard time. 

Please pray that the Lord would provide for all our needs, mental, spiritual, and financial, in the year 2025!

In the midst of this busyness, please pray for rest. Pray that we may find moments of peace to recharge our bodies, minds, and souls, and that God would grant us the wisdom to balance our responsibilities with times of true stillness.

Please pray for Samir and his family as they return home after months of ministry abroad. Pray for their safe travel and much-needed rest.

We are currently in another country for a conference and to film some teaching videos. However, our entire family is dealing with sore throats and severe jet lag.

Could you please pray for our health and a quick recovery? I’m scheduled to teach for several hours tomorrow, and we have several days of filming ahead.
