Reaching Afghans in Ontario with the Gospel

This past week, our Afghan Journal of Theology and evangelistic booklets were shared at a community festival in Ontario. The event drew people from many backgrounds, but it was especially moving to see Afghan families receiving resources created in their own language.

Our team has worked hard to craft materials that speak to the hearts of Afghans, combining theological depth with cultural sensitivity. The journal offers thoughtful articles on key themes of the Christian faith, while the booklets present the good news of Jesus in a clear and engaging way.
At the festival, these resources stirred curiosity and opened doors for genuine dialogue. Many churches in Ontario are seeking meaningful ways to connect with Afghans, and these journals and booklets provide a bridge, speaking to Afghan culture and addressing deep questions of faith.

By placing them directly into Afghan hands, we are seeing opportunities for lasting conversations and encounters with God’s truth. We are thankful to witness how God is using these efforts not only online and abroad, but also here in Canada, among Afghan communities in our own neighbourhoods.
If you or your church would like to reach Afghans in your area with these resources, we would love to equip you, please contact us at: books@afghanschool.org
