Dear family and friends,
Happy New Year from the Lumens of Truth team! As we step into 2025, we are left with gratitude for God’s faithfulness throughout 2024 and eagerly look forward to what He has in store for the year to come.
Looking Back at 2024
The year 2024 was filled with incredible opportunities to spread the light of the knowledge of Christ amongst the unreached peoples of Afghanistan. As we reflect on what the Lord has been pleased to do through Lumens of Truth this past year, some key highlights include:
Witnessing more than 10 Afghans come to Christ
Reaching tens of thousands of Afghans with the Gospel for the first time through our online ministry
Publishing the second volume of the “Afghan Journal of Theology”
Development of discipleship resources for Afghan believers such as “A Journey through Corinth” and “Jesus Honours Us”
Releasing our worship music online, including a Christmas song titled "In A Lowly Manger". Watch below with English subtitles!
And many, many more, which we will include in our yearly report, coming out in mid-February!

Our God is able to use our small efforts to make an eternal impact on the lives of Afghans, and toward that end we treasure you and your prayers as we enter this new year. Some prayer points:
That the Lord would work through online Gospel proclamation to lead many Afghans to salvation.
For the successful distribution of the Afghan Journal of Theology and its role in strengthening Afghan believers.
That the Lord would provide for our needs.
For wisdom and endurance for the Lumens of Truth team, as they navigate how best to allocate time and resources to meet the vast needs of the Afghan people.
